My Story
Hello! My name is Searie Monge and I am the known as The Cookie Lady here in Lakeland. I’ve always had a passion for baking. My mom says that it’s in our family genes. I had several family members who were prolific bakers. I am self-taught and I am always trying new things.
A few years ago, right before the pandemic, I was baking cookies for my co-workers. They would be so excited when I would bring in the cookies for them to buy. They all said I should go into business for myself and start selling to everyone. One of them, Donte, even gave me my new title.
I started to expand my menu by adding French Macarons. They took some time to perfect, but I figured it out. I added different flavors and they were a hit.
When the pandemic hit, I decided to offer my baking services on Facebook and provide No Contact deliveries too. It was a huge success! I started to expand my options, flavors, and I was getting more and more customers.
Since then, I have increased my flavor options for my French Macarons to over 80 options, added French Meringues, Breads and Muffins, Cupcakes, French Macaron Towers, and French Macaron Party Favors. And I’m always looking for new ways to expand.
As of February 1st, 2024, I am in a commercial kitchen in downtown Bartow! I am working on expanding my menu and offering more options!
“Searie was amazing with answering my MANY questions, was always pleasant to speak with, and very prompt with responding. We initially ordered 2 variety boxes in our top 4 flavors we wanted to try. And then ordered 140 party favor boxes of our top 2 flavors-Double Chocolate and Key Lime Pie. She wonderfully adjusted the color of the key lime pie macaron to our preference. All were delivered to our home in plenty of time. The favor boxes were adorable and a hit at the party with everyone!

“The macarons are amazing. The right amount of crisp to the shell. Very light and fluffy. I had the Apple Pie and the Toasted Marshmallow. They were both delicious. The Toasted Marshmallow were the favorite of everyone in the house. Ordering was easy, fast and delivery was right on time. ”
